Joe Rogan, renowned as a UFC commentator and live fight analyst, has made a name for himself in his profession. However, many people are unaware of the fact that the 55-year-old individual was also a fearsome host. Rogan is a multi-talented personality, excelling in various domains – he hosts one of the most famous podcasts called “The Joe Rogan Experience,” and he’s also a stand-up comedian.
Due to his podcast, he has had the opportunity to meet several famous personalities and has established good relationships with many of them. Notably, he shares a good rapport with the legendary boxer Mike Tyson. Rogan and Tyson have appeared together on each other’s podcasts multiple times. During episode 420 of his podcast, Rogan revealed his concerns about his safety while hosting the infamous show “Fear Factor.”
Between the years 2001 and 2006, Rogan occupied the role of host for five consecutive seasons on the captivating television show “Fear Factor.” This program garnered its reputation from its pulse-quickening concept and hair-raising challenges that participants were compelled to undertake. Throughout the show’s duration, Rogan engaged in various indelible instances, including an altercation of a physical nature with a participant.
In the more recent period, a number of well-known individuals found themselves integrated into Rogan’s broadcast. Notably, among them was the renowned WWE icon, The Miz, who happened to be present during an altercation involving Rogan and a participant. Despite his widespread acclaim, Rogan candidly confessed to harboring apprehensions about potential employment jeopardy looming in the future.
In a notable podcast conversation alongside Mike Tyson, Rogan engaged in a candid discourse about his apprehensions concerning the trajectory of “Fear Factor.” Having commanded the role of the show’s host for a substantial half-decade span, he amassed substantial revelations regarding its inner workings. Therefore, it came as a natural consequence that his preoccupations revolved around the looming possibility of show termination and the associated jeopardy of professional displacement. Rogan candidly unveiled his contemplations regarding the ingenious orchestration of audacious challenges to perplex contestants, all the while pondering the logistical intricacies of perpetuating such jaw-dropping scenarios.
Rogan enjoys bloody antics and combat. This is one of the factors that drew him to MMA and the UFC. But he said that in order to present the demanding show, he required some sort of support. He strongly supports American podcasters, marijuana, and other psychedelic drugs; this is a stance Tyson also holds. Both have a strong interest in combat sports. As a highly intelligent person, Rogan might have been able to predict that “Fear Factor” would eventually terminate.
Rogan anticipated the cancellation of the program. In his capacity as a UFC commentator, he called the program “ridiculous.” He always thought the show would finish. The program, however, ended up being a huge success. Rogan wasn’t persuaded that the show would go on despite this.
According to Rogan, “I was saying, ‘This is so ridiculous, this show is so ridiculous.'” And because I made fun of it, I was given the job. A cum shot and a horse cum. It’s difficult to believe it was a real show.
The program ceased broadcasting before restarting. There was, however, a contentious episode involving horses that featured obscene material. According to Rogan, it was this particular incident that ultimately caused the end of the show.
